A bill for an act
relating to human services; phasing in an increase in the medical assistance excess
income standard for persons who are elderly, blind, or have disabilities; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 256B.056, subdivision 5c.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 256B.056, subdivision 5c, is amended to read:


Subd. 5c.

Excess income standard.

(a) The excess income standard for parents and
caretaker relatives, pregnant women, infants, and children ages two through 20 is the standard
specified in subdivision 4, paragraph (b).

(b) The excess income standard for a person whose eligibility is based on blindness,
disability, or age of 65 or more years shall equalnew text begin :
