relating to education; requiring the commissioner of education to reauthorize
existing four-day school week plans.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin REAUTHORIZATION OF EXISTING FOUR-DAY SCHOOL WEEK
PLANS.

Notwithstanding the powers and duties of the commissioner of education under
Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.126, the commissioner shall reauthorize a four-day
school week plan if the district employed a four-day school week plan during the
2013-2014 school year.
