A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for payment to a day school in
Ramsey County for child care assistance overpayments.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE OVERPAYMENT
RECOVERY.

new text begin $571,584 is appropriated in fiscal year 2022 from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a grant to a day school in Ramsey County that provides integrated
religious and secular education to boys and girls from prekindergarten to 8th grade, for
operating costs affected by child care assistance overpayments. The commissioner shall not
collect the remaining balance of child care assistance overpayments from the day school as
of the date of the payment. This is a onetime appropriation.
