A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; providing funding for the Minnesota Veterinary
Diagnostic Laboratory; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY.

new text begin $1,250,000 is appropriated from the general fund in each of fiscal years 2010
and 2011 to the commissioner of agriculture for the Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic
Laboratory. This appropriation is in addition to the allocation of state general fund
appropriations for the laboratory in each year of the 2010-2011 biennium that cannot be
less in the 2010-2011 biennium than the allocation for the laboratory in each year of
the 2008-2009 biennium.
