new text begin (b) A district or consortium eligible for adult basic education aid under Minnesota
Statutes, section 124D.531, or an organization eligible for adult basic education supplemental
service grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.522, may apply to the commissioner
in the form and manner determined by the commissioner for a grant to create, expand,
promote, or strengthen adult English learner programs under Minnesota Statutes, section
124D.52, subdivision 6.
