A bill for an act
relating to public safety; requiring the sale of state-owned property and directing
that the proceeds be used for the operation of Minnesota Correctional Facility-Togo.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

DIRECTED.

new text begin The commissioner of administration shall sell the storage facility and property acquired
pursuant to Legislative COVID-19 Response Commission-Action Order No. 13, dated May
8, 2020, and located at 1415 L'Orient Street, St. Paul, Minnesota. The commissioner shall
do this as expeditiously as possible while attempting to maximize the purchase price. All
proceeds from the sale must be deposited into the state treasury and transferred to the
commissioner of corrections to supplement the fiscal year 2021 operating costs budget of
the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Togo.
