A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money to the Dakota County Regional
Chamber of Commerce to establish a Dakota County Transportation Management
Organization.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $750,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce for the
purpose of establishing a Dakota County Transportation Management Organization, which
will assist job seekers in finding employment with access to transit. The commissioner must
not retain any portion of the funds appropriated under this section. The commissioner must
make grant payments in full by December 31, 2022. This is a onetime appropriation.
