A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating a bridge on marked U.S. Highway 52 in
West St. Paul as Private Joseph Marthaler Bridge; amending Minnesota Statutes
2016, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The bridge on marked U.S. Highway 52
over Wentworth Avenue in the city of West St. Paul is designated as "Private Joseph
Marthaler Bridge." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable
design to mark this bridge and erect appropriate signs.
