A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the V3 Center in the North
Minneapolis neighborhood.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; V3 CENTER.

new text begin $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development to V3 Sports, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization, to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip a community, aquatic,
sports, and event center with a 50-meter competition swimming pool in the North
Minneapolis neighborhood. This appropriation is available until the project is completed
or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime
appropriation.
