relating to education finance; appropriating money to Independent School District
No. 742, St. Cloud.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ST. CLOUD AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT.

new text begin $125,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of education for Independent School District No. 742, St. Cloud. The school district must
use the appropriation to work with an organization that assists students with developing
leadership skills and cultural knowledge, provides student tutoring services, educates parents
on navigating the United States education system and how to support their students'
educational achievement, and teaches parents how to advocate for their students' success.
