A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Open Arms of Minnesota.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; OPEN ARMS OF MINNESOTA.

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Open Arms of Minnesota to
construct, renovate, furnish, and equip a new kitchen and nutrition counseling center in
Ramsey County to expand access to medically tailored meals for Minnesotans with
life-threatening illnesses. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
