A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money to the commissioner of health
for a grant to a nonprofit dental clinic serving the southeastern area of the state.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of health for a grant to a nonprofit community dental clinic serving Olmsted County and
the surrounding areas to provide preventive and restorative dental care; prevention education
to pregnant mothers, parents, and children; community outreach; and clinic-based training
for dental students. The grant must be used to pay costs associated with predesign, design,
construction, renovation, furnishing, and equipping a new regional facility located in the
city of Rochester. This is a onetime appropriation.
