A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring stop logs be added to the outlet dam on the
Sturgeon River.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin STURGEON RIVER OUTLET DAM.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Rules, part 6115.0220, or any other law to the contrary, the
commissioner of natural resources must add stop logs to the Sturgeon River outlet dam in
St. Louis County to increase the water level in the Sturgeon/Side Lake Chain of Lakes to
....... feet. The commissioner must add the stop logs no later than ......., 2022.
