relating to transportation; appropriating money for road improvements in Elbow
Lake.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of Elbow Lake, Grant County, or both for
improvements to 1st Street Southwest from 1st Avenue Southwest to approximately 600
feet west of 2nd Avenue Southwest and on 2nd Avenue Southwest from 1st Street Southwest
to County State-Aid Highway 1, known as Division Street. This project includes widening,
upgrading, and paving the streets; installing curbs and gutters; and improving drainage.
This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2025.
