 relating to human services; providing base funding for living-at-home/block
nurse programs; transferring funds from the community service grant program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin LIVING-AT-HOME/BLOCK NURSE PROGRAM FUNDING.

new text begin For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008, the commissioner of human services shall
transfer $280,000 from the community service grant program under Minnesota Statutes,
section 256B.0917, subdivision 13, to the living-at-home/block nurse program under
Minnesota Statutes, section 256B.0917, subdivision 8, to provide base funding for 14
living-at-home/block nurse programs currently operating without base funding.
