relating to arts and culture; appropriating money for Veterans' Voices radio
programming.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin VETERANS' VOICES; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $50,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to
the commissioner of administration for a grant to the Association of Minnesota Public
Educational Radio Stations for statewide programming to promote the Veterans' Voices
program. The Veterans' Voices program shall educate and engage communities regarding
veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills, and experiences with an emphasis on Korean
War veterans or Operation Desert Storm veterans. This is a onetime appropriation.
