  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for family 
  1.3             service collaboratives.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of children, families, and learning for the 
  1.8   biennium ending June 30, 2001, for purposes of providing wages 
  1.9   or salaries for family service collaborative coordinators or 
  1.10  directors.  The commissioner of children, families, and learning 
  1.11  shall distribute funds to collaboratives that are beyond their 
  1.12  fifth year, and are meeting the duties of the family service 
  1.13  collaborative under Minnesota Statutes, section 124D.23, 
  1.14  subdivision 2.  This appropriation is available until expended.
