grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES GRANTS; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $400,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for grants to lake associations to manage aquatic invasive species,
including grants for projects to control and provide public awareness of aquatic invasive
species and for watercraft inspections. This is a onetime appropriation.
