A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for trail improvements in the
city of Hastings.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; HASTINGS TRAIL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS.

new text begin $2,450,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a grant to the city of Hastings to design, construct, and renovate
pavement and pedestrian accessibility improvements to the municipal trail system. This
appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.
