BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SOUTHERN MINNESOTA INITIATIVE FOUNDATION;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Southern Minnesota Initiative
Foundation for minority entrepreneur training and development. This is a onetime
appropriation.

of employment and economic development for a grant to the Southwest Initiative Foundation
for minority entrepreneur training and development. This is a onetime appropriation.

Sec. 3. new text begin NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Neighborhood Development
Center for outreach and training activities outside the seven-county metropolitan area, as
defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 473.121, subdivision 2. This is a onetime
appropriation.
