  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing spending 
  1.3             for higher education asset preservation and 
  1.4             replacement; authorizing the board of trustees of the 
  1.5             Minnesota state colleges and universities and the 
  1.6             board of regents of the University of Minnesota to 
  1.7             make capital improvements for asset preservation and 
  1.8             replacement; appropriating money. 
  1.9   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.10     Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.11     Subdivision 1.  [MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND 
  1.12  UNIVERSITIES.] $60,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund 
  1.13  to the board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.14  universities for higher education asset preservation and 
  1.15  replacement according to Minnesota Statutes, section 135A.046. 
  1.16     Subd. 2.  [UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA.] $16,000,000 is 
  1.17  appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of 
  1.18  the University of Minnesota for higher education asset 
  1.19  preservation and replacement according to Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.20  section 135A.046.
