education and jobs; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

COMMERCE; PROCEED, INC.

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of the Office of Higher Education for equal grants to the Minnesota
Hmong Chamber of Commerce and the Progressive Center for Education and Economic
Development, Inc. The grants are for the purpose of activities and capacity building to
make connections between education and employment for individuals through existing
programs and otherwise. Existing programs include the dual training program under
Minnesota Statutes, section 136A.246. This appropriation is available until expended.
