A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; prohibiting the commissioner of natural resources
from surveying and adjusting boundaries of certain lands; proposing coding for
new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 84.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin (a) The commissioner of natural resources shall not survey or otherwise cause the
survey of consolidated conservation lands designated as wildlife management areas or
adjust boundaries of those designated wildlife management areas.

new text begin (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), the commissioner may make an adjustment to a
boundary if the commissioner, the adjacent landowner, and the county where the land is
located agree in writing to the boundary adjustment.
