relating to mental health; appropriating money for school-linked mental health
services.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; SCHOOL-LINKED MENTAL HEALTH
SERVICES.

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of human services for children's mental health grants under Minnesota
Statutes, section 245.4889, subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clause (8), for current grantees to
expand access to school-linked mental health services and to provide training to grantees
on the use of evidence-based practices. $4,500,000 is added to the base for children's
mental health grants in fiscal year 2018.
