A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for the ombudsman for mental
health and developmental disabilities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated from
the general fund to the Office of Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental
Disabilities for two positions for the Jensen Settlement and Minnesota's Olmstead Plan
Systems Division. The two positions will provide oversight and systematic monitoring for
the Jensen and Olmstead implementation plans, and fulfill the duties as a consultant to the
court and all of the parties, as appointed by the federal court.
