A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; designating a segment of marked Trunk Highway 28 as
Staff Sergeant Kevin Witte Memorial Highway; amending Minnesota Statutes
2015 Supplement, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2015 Supplement, section 161.14, is amended by adding
a subdivision to read:

of marked Trunk Highway 28 located between the city of Beardsley and the city of
Graceville is designated as "Staff Sergeant Kevin Witte Memorial Highway." Subject to
section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and
erect appropriate signs.
