  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             ice arena activities. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.6      $3,600,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.7   year 1999 to the amateur sports commission for ice centers under 
  1.8   Minnesota Statutes, section 240A.09.  $2,000,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the general fund in fiscal year 1999 to the amateur sports 
  1.10  commission for pilot projects for youth sports as provided in 
  1.11  Laws 1997, chapter 202, article 2, section 52.  These 
  1.12  appropriations are available until July 1, 2000. 
  1.13     $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.14  year 1999 to the Minnesota amateur sports commission for women's 
  1.15  hockey.  This appropriation is available until July 1, 2000.
