BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of education for the fiscal year
designated.

new text begin For a grant to Rochester
public schools, Independent School District No. 535, to establish an all-day preschool
pilot program.

new text begin Funds appropriated in this section are to be used to fund all operations and facilities
costs associated with establishing an all-day preschool pilot program, including the costs
to either build a new school building or remodel existing facilities to accommodate new
and increased enrollment in the district. The funds appropriated in this section may also be
used to fund all costs related to the all-day preschool pilot program's curriculum, learning
materials, teachers, and staff. All funds do not expire but carry forward.
