  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; modifying supplemental revenue; 
  1.3             appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [SUPPLEMENTAL REVENUE.] 
  1.6      Supplemental revenue for fiscal years 1998 and later under 
  1.7   Minnesota Statutes, section 124A.22, subdivision 8, is increased 
  1.8   by the following amounts: 
  1.9      (1) for independent school district No. 593, Crookston, 
  1.10  $117,000; 
  1.11     (2) for independent school district No. 361, International 
  1.12  Falls, $107,000; 
  1.13     (3) for independent school district No. 706, Virginia, 
  1.14  $43,000; and 
  1.15     (4) for independent school district No. 2154, 
  1.16  Eveleth-Gilbert, $8,000. 
  1.17     Supplemental revenue increased under this section is not 
  1.18  subject to reduction under Minnesota Statutes, section 124A.22, 
  1.19  subdivision 9. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
