A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; appropriating money for the small cities assistance
program and for town roads.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SMALL CITIES ASSISTANCE; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for the small cities assistance
program under Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145.

Sec. 2. new text begin TOWN ROADS; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for town roads, to be distributed
in the manner provided under Minnesota Statutes, section 162.081.
