  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing for the 
  1.3             reopening of certain historical sites; appropriating 
  1.4             money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   Minnesota Historical Society for operation of the following 
  1.9   historical sites for the summer of 2004:  Kelley Farm, Hill 
  1.10  House, Lower Sioux Agency, Fort Ridgely, Historic Forestville, 
  1.11  the Forest History Center, and the Comstock House.  This is a 
  1.12  onetime appropriation and is not to be added to the society's 
  1.13  base. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
