 relating to state government; appropriating money for marked Trunk Highway
316 improvements.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT FUND GRANTS; MARKED TRUNK
HIGHWAY 316 IN HASTINGS.

new text begin $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for deposit in the local road improvement fund for grants under Minnesota
Statutes, section 174.52, subdivision 2. Notwithstanding the grant procedures in Minnesota
Statutes, section 174.52, subdivision 5, $2,500,000 is for a grant to the city of Hastings to
pay the local share of design, engineering, and construction costs of improvements to marked
Trunk Highway 316 within the Hastings city limits.
