  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; providing funding for a 
  1.3             farmers' market hall project; authorizing the sale of 
  1.4             state bonds; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA FARMERS' MARKET HALL PROJECT; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $9,975,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of agriculture 
  1.10  for a grant to the city of St. Paul to build the Minnesota 
  1.11  farmers' market hall, a year-round, value-added market facility.
  1.12     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.13  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.14  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.15  to $9,975,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.16  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.17  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
