  1.2             relating to lead abatement; appropriating money. 
  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; LEAD ABATEMENT PROGRAM.] 
  1.5      $....... for fiscal year 1999 is appropriated from the 
  1.6   general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.7   learning for the lead abatement program under Minnesota 
  1.8   Statutes, section 268.92.  This appropriation must be used for 
  1.9   the swab team service program to provide lead clean-up and 
  1.10  abatement services in geographic areas where the residents have 
  1.11  a high risk of elevated blood lead levels.
