A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for veteran housing developed
by Contained Solutions in certain cities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota Housing
Finance Agency for a grant to Contained Solutions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to
acquire property, predesign, design, construct, engineer, furnish, and equip four-plex
residences to be veteran owned and occupied and purchased by veterans with financial
assistance from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs home loan program. This
appropriation includes money for the addition of a community center space on some of the
properties. The properties shall be located in the cities of Duluth, Minneapolis, Ramsey, St.
Paul, and Sauk Centre. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or
abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
