A bill for an act
relating to liquor; permitting persons that are 17 years of age to serve alcoholic
beverages.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SERVICE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES; PERSONS 17 YEARS OF
AGE.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.412, subdivision 10, or any other
law, charter provision, or ordinance to the contrary, a person who is 17 years of age may
serve or sell intoxicating liquor in a retail establishment that has an on-sale intoxicating
liquor license.
