  1.3             turkey respiratory disease research.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; TURKEY RESPIRATORY DISEASE 
  1.6   RESEARCH.] 
  1.7      $315,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   University of Minnesota to fund research on turkey respiratory 
  1.9   disease control and prevention.  This appropriation is in 
  1.10  addition to other public and nonpublic money for turkey 
  1.11  research.  This appropriation is available for the fiscal year 
  1.12  ending June 30, 1999.
