A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; designating a segment of marked U.S. Highway 61 in
Wabasha County as Trooper Dale G. Roehrich Memorial Highway; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin That segment of marked
U.S. Highway 61 from Lake City to Wabasha is designated as "Trooper Dale G. Roehrich
Memorial Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable
design to mark this highway and erect appropriate signs.
