  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing the sale 
  1.3             of state bonds; appropriating money for the North West 
  1.4             Company Fur Post Interpretive Center. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [NORTH WEST COMPANY FUR POST INTERPRETIVE 
  1.7   CENTER.] 
  1.8      $3,117,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.9   the Minnesota historical society for construction of the North 
  1.10  West Company Fur Post Interpretive Center. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.12     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the 
  1.13  state bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on 
  1.14  request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.15  in an amount up to $3,117,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and 
  1.16  with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.17  16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.18  XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.19     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
