  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             to replace a well in the city of Lewisville; 
  1.4             authorizing the sale of state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of health for a grant to the city of Lewisville in 
  1.9   Watonwan county to replace the city's water well, which 
  1.10  collapsed in December 1995. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.12     To provide the money appropriated in section 1 from the 
  1.13  state bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on 
  1.14  request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.15  in an amount up to $100,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and 
  1.16  with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.17  16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.18  XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.19     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
