  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing the city of St. Paul 
  1.3             to issue a liquor license for special events at the 
  1.4             State Capitol. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [STATE CAPITOL CENTENNIAL EVENTS.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the city of 
  1.8   St. Paul may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to the 
  1.9   Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board for special events 
  1.10  held in the State Capitol and on the capitol grounds relating to 
  1.11  the centennial anniversary of the Capitol Building.  The license 
  1.12  authorized by this section is valid from January 1, 2005, to 
  1.13  December 31, 2005.  All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.14  chapter 340A, not inconsistent with this section, apply to the 
  1.15  license authorized by this section.
