  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to natural resources; providing for 
  1.3             protection of a designated trout stream; appropriating 
  1.4             money for the replacement of culverts in Morrison 
  1.5             brook; authorizing the issuance of state bonds. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; MORRISON BROOK CULVERT 
  1.8   REPLACEMENT.] 
  1.9      (a) $150,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.10  the commissioner of natural resources for replacement of three 
  1.11  culverts in Morrison brook, in Spang township in Itasca county, 
  1.12  to cure erosion problems that threaten the trout population of 
  1.13  Morrison brook. 
  1.14     (b) To provide the money appropriated by this act from the 
  1.15  bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of 
  1.16  the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an 
  1.17  amount up to $150,000 in the manner, on the terms, and with the 
  1.18  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.19  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.20  4 to 7.
