BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The annual summer solstice is designated as Minnesota Alzheimer's Disease
Awareness Day in recognition of Minnesotans living with Alzheimer's disease and other
dementias and their caregivers. Each year the governor may issue a proclamation honoring
this observance. The governor may also take any additional action necessary to promote
and encourage awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
