  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for fiscal 
  1.7   year 1998 to the insurance trust fund under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.8   section 43A.316, subdivision 9, for the purposes stated in that 
  1.9   subdivision.
