  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the Minnesota historical society; 
  1.3             appropriating money for a grant to Farmamerica. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FARMAMERICA; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund for the 
  1.7   fiscal year ending June 30, 1997, to the Minnesota historical 
  1.8   society as fiscal agent for a grant to Farmamerica.  
  1.9   Notwithstanding any other law, the grant made from this 
  1.10  appropriation may be used for operational purposes. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1996.
