A bill for an act
 relating to veterans; delaying the sunset date for the higher education veterans
assistance program; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 197.585,
subdivision 5.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 197.585, subdivision 5, is amended to read:


Subd. 5.

Expiration.

This section expires at the end of the first fiscal year in which
the number of veterans enrolled in Minnesota public institutions of higher education is
fewer than 4,000, but no later than June 30, deleted text begin 2011deleted text end new text begin 2015new text end .
