  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to Itasca county; increasing an amount that 
  1.3             may be spent for tourism; amending Laws 1965, chapter 
  1.4             326, section 1, subdivision 5, as amended. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 1965, chapter 326, section 1, subdivision 
  1.7   5, as amended by Laws 1975, chapter 110, section 1, and Laws 
  1.8   1985, chapter 87, section 3, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 5.  Promotion of tourist, agricultural and industrial 
  1.10  development.  The amount to be spent annually for the purposes 
  1.11  of this subdivision shall not exceed $1 $4 per capita of the 
  1.12  county's population. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day after the Itasca county 
  1.15  board's approval is filed according to Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.16  section 645.021, subdivision 3.
