A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money and modifying an appropriation
for a grant to Pipestone County; amending Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 1,
section 21, subdivision 18.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 1, section 21, subdivision 18, is amended to
read:


Subd. 18.

Pipestone County - Dental Facility

500,000

For a grant to Pipestone County to predesign,
design, construct, furnish, and equip a dental
care facility in Pipestone County. The county
may enter into an agreement under Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.695, for operation of the
dental clinic.new text begin This project is not subject to the

new text begin $250,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund
to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Pipestone
County to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip a dental care facility in Pipestone
County. This appropriation is in addition to the appropriation for the same purpose in Laws
2018, chapter 214, article 1, section 21, subdivision 18.

new text begin To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond
proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of
the state in an amount up to $250,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
