  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for the International Wolf Center. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [INTERNATIONAL WOLF CENTER.] 
  1.6      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $605,000 is appropriated 
  1.7   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural 
  1.8   resources for capital improvements to the International Wolf 
  1.9   Center including repair of grounds and buildings, improvements 
  1.10  to the heating and ventilation system, the wolf enclosure, and 
  1.11  the children's exhibit room, and added facilities for vehicle 
  1.12  garaging and a workshop and expanded space for retail operations.
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated by 
  1.14  this section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.15  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.16  of the state in an amount up to $605,000 in the manner, on the 
  1.17  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.18  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.19  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
