practices loan program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AGRICULTURAL BEST MANAGEMENT
PRACTICES LOAN PROGRAM.

$8,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $7,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture to implement the agricultural best
management practices loan program under Minnesota Statutes, section 17.117. These
appropriations are onetime. Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.28, these
appropriations are available until June 30, 2022.
